OUR LEGACY
The UWA Tavern has been one of Western Australia's most iconic entertainment and social venues for the last 50 years. Steeped in history and nostalgia in WA's entertainment culture, the venue also prides its self on friendly service, great food and an excellent selection of beverages.

Located on the campus of the University of Western Australia and overlooking the Swan River, the "Tav" as its fondly referred too, is a hallmark to anyone who has studied or who are just visiting the University. Memorable folk such as Bob Hawke who broke the Yard Glass record, through to many other famous and respected people from all over the world have visited the most iconic University pub in the Australia.

The UWA Tavern has hosted some of the biggest names in Australian and international music, including, Powderfinger, Ice house, INXS, to the Ministry of Sound, Spacey Jane and Peking Duck and many more. The Tav has entertainment embeded in its history.

The UWA Tavern holds private events including Weddings, large corporate events, celebrations and big events. With a capacity of 550 people, the Tav can cater for large and small / intimate events depending on your requirements.
